Known Problems and Issues
  • Dropping Links into drop zone causing error and Yourmap to close.  This has been corrected in 1.6.29.
  • JPG's being plotted incorrectly -  JPG files from a KODAK DX4530 camera (and possibly others) are being plotted in the Northern and Western Hemispheres incorrectly.   This is due to a Windows-XP SP1 issue with the GDI+ image program. The Exif GPS information is correct, but the GDI+ is not recoginizing the correct Latitude Reference (N, S, E, W).  It can be fixed by downloading and installing the Security Update for Windows XP (KB833987).
  • Picasa program - while exporting geododed JPG's from Minolta cameras and some locations (such as Hawaii), the exported JPG file's coordinates become corrupted.  May have something to do with the Camera type that produced the JPG.  Canon works OK, as does JPGs that have no Camera type specified.
  • Slow Internet connections can cause Shape files being downloaded to be incorrectly displayed.  Fix by deleting the Shape files from the cache directory (usually program\files\cache), and then try to open Theme again. <
