View Google Earth
This option (if Google Earth is installed), will cause Yourmap to interact and Synchronize with Google Earth.
If GE is not running, GE will start up and zoom to yourmap's current location.
If GE has already been started and running, youmap viewer will zoom to GE's current position.
Once GE is running:
GE will zoom to yourmap's locations.
Yourmap selections will create temporary GE Placemarks for each item selected. JPG items will have camera icons. Internet and other items will have "info" icons.
Image Maps, such as ESRI TOPO or Aerial views, will create overlays on GE.
After minimizing yourmap viewer, you can move around in GE. When restoring yourmap, it will zoom to GE's location.
Geocode JPG files using GE:
1. Drop one or more JPG files on Yourmap, this will create placemarks on GE.
2. Minimize yourmap viewer.
3. In GE, right-click and EDIT selected placemark, and move it to desired location. Save changes to placemark, then right-click and COPY.
4. Restore Yourmap Viewer, and the Add Exif Data screen will come up to enable geocoding.
